Quadient Debuts Addition to iX-Series of Mailing, Shipping Systems

Quadient—a communication automation, parcel locker solutions, and mail-related solutions provider—announced this week that it has debuted the newest member of its iX-Series. The iX-9 Series high-volume mailing system is available as both a standalone model and pre-integrated with the organization’s S.M.A.R.T., cloud-based mail center software.

The iX-Series mailing and shipping solutions have sold more than 15,000 units in the U.S. since their introduction in 2020. The iX-9 joins the iX-3, iX-5 and iX-7 models to meet the shipping, mailing, accounting, and reporting software needs of organizations of any size. The iX-9 model was built to handle large volumes and can automatically seal, weigh, measure, meter, and stack large runs of mail within minutes. The unit also meets USPS Intelligent Mail Indicia (IMI) and Dimensional Weighing (DIM) requirements.

iX-9 Series Mailing and Shipping System

“Our latest innovation, the iX-9 Series, offers our customers a modern and advanced mailing system, fully compliant with the latest requirements of the U.S. Postal Service,” said Alain Fairise, chief solutions officer of Mail-Related Solutions for Quadient. “Quadient listened to high-volume mail and shipping operators and our production mail center customers to design a mail center management system that fully meets the unique needs of today’s high-volume mailing environments. With a focus on helping businesses adapt to new regulations and customer requirements through powerful innovation and cloud-based solutions, the iX-9, when partnered with S.M.A.R.T., is the perfect solution for driving maximum output and increasing ROI.”

S.M.A.R.T. is a cloud-based software solution for package shipping, mailing, accounting, reporting and tracking. It allows users to consolidate, organize and streamline mailroom management from its single dashboard. Features include providing shipping and tracking notifications, chargeback accounting with postage meter reconciliation, and detailed and extensive reporting options.
