Quadient Achieves 25,000 Locker Installations Worldwide

Global automation platform Quadient recently announced that it has acquired Package Concierge, a U.S.-based parcel management solutions provider, according to a news release. The acquisition pushes Quadient over the 25,000-unit milestone of global installations. Package Concierge offers digital locker technology to residential, commercial, retail, and university spaces in the U.S.

The acquisition was part of Quadient’s “Elevate to 2030” strategic plan, which focuses on generating more than €1 billion in subscription-related revenue by 2030. A main element of the strategy is to push cross-selling opportunities within the organization’s customer base of 350,000. Expansion will come in three regions: The U.S., Europe, and Japan.

“The acquisition of Package Concierge naturally aligns with Quadient's ‘Elevate to 2030’ ambitions to automate first and last mile parcel delivery driven by rising e-commerce penetration and bring us closer to reaching the €200 million in revenue target set for 2030 for our Lockers automation platform,” said Quadient CEO Geoffrey Godet. “We’re excited to welcome the top industry talents from Package Concierge to the Quadient family and look forward to building a successful future together.”

Package Concierge is based in Manhattan, Kan., and the deal was completed on Dec. 17, 2024, the news release reports.
