ProTeam Launches GoFit 6 HEPA Backpack Vacuum

Technology leader Emerson recently introduced the new ProTeam GoFit 6 HEPA backpack vacuum, according to a news release. The vacuum was designed to capture 99.97% of particulates down to 0.3 microns—including atmospheric hazards like lead dust, mold spores, and other particulates—through an advanced filtration system.

Product amenities include HEPA filtration; multiple applications including remediation and lead-safe abatement, as well as use in hospitals, clinics, and patient-care settings; alignment with the EPA’s definition of a HEPA vacuum according to the Lead Safety Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rule; and a unique method of suction that avoids agitating dust, the news release reports.

“The new GoFit 6 HEPA is an evolution from our LineVacer,” said ProTeam Vice President and General Manager Matt Reimers. “Launching this unit is the latest in expanding our GoFit product lineup which features corded and cordless models. All these vacuums, including the new HEPA unit, are designed to make efficient use of our customers time while feeling comfortable to wear.”
