Haws Corporation Marks 120th Anniversary

Haws Corporation, which provides hydration and emergency safety solutions worldwide, recently announced that the company is celebrating its 120th anniversary this year, according to a news release.

Founded in 1906 after the invention of what the company describes as “the first sanitary drinking fountain”, Haws has expanded its product portfolio to include hydration systems as well as emergency safety equipment such as eyewash stations and safety showers. The company serves markets including education, healthcare, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities.

According to the release, Haws has focused on designing products intended to meet changing operational and regulatory requirements while supporting long-term facility performance. The company said its engineering priorities include durability in high-use environments, reliable system operation, ease of maintenance, and designs that can be integrated into both new construction and retrofit projects.

The manufacturer noted that its products are designed to withstand demanding conditions while helping reduce maintenance needs and supporting long service life. It also emphasized ongoing efforts to optimize accessibility for maintenance and replacement as facilities modernize their infrastructure.

"Our 120-year legacy is defined not only by the products we engineer, but by the relationships we've built," said Katy Loos, Vice President of Marketing, NPD & EMEA, in the release. "Customers rely on Haws because our systems perform consistently, and because we stand behind them over the long term."

Looking ahead, the company said it plans to continue investing in product development and engineering to address evolving building standards and customer needs. According to the release, Haws will maintain its focus on providing hydration and emergency safety systems for facilities across multiple sectors, including K–12 schools, higher education campuses, healthcare facilities, and commercial buildings.
