New Fairfield Public Schools recently selected JCJ Architecture to design two new school projects — the expansion of the Grades 3 through 5 Meeting House Hill School and a new high school.

The new $10.7 million, 15,000-square foot facility creates a multifunctional events center for the campus. The two buildings will accommodate theater productions, band performances and other events, as well as a drama classroom, band and orchestra suite and dance studio.

Construction Completed on El Capitan High School’s Events Center

At the heart of the school is the two-story media center, designed to blur the lines between indoor and outdoor space.
